This post is all about the best Swedish oat milk recipe.
While my typical Starbucks order has oat milk (grande cold brew with SF vanilla & splash of oat milk), I have never made it myself before. And wow, was I missing OUT! I believe it actually tastes better homemade than store bought and you get the benefit of knowing exactly what ingredients are in it. Plus it’s super easy! Oat Milk is the viral trend originating in Sweden and if you haven’t tried it before, now is the time.
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups of water
- small pinch of sea salt
1. Add all ingredients into blender with 3 cups of water.
Blend for 30 seconds, make sure you don’t over-blend as it will make the oat milk less creamy.
2. Strain oat through nut milk bag (or fine strainer) twice.
3. Pour milk into bottle & chill for 24 hours.
Easy right? AND SO GOOD! Check out this recipe and let me know what you thought.
